* Work on your Most Important Things (MITs) right upfront. We all have days that fly by with us getting no work done. * Start and end the day in silence. One of the greatest investments I ever made was in a yoga DVD back in 2006. Five years later and I still spend 45 minutes stretching off the sleep 6 mornings a week. I’ve also added 15 minutes of meditation to end each session as well as 10 minutes more before I go to bed. If you can’t find a full hour, spend 5 minutes with a quiet cup of coffee or drive to work with the radio off. The day should start on a calm note, not with you reaching for your phone to tweet ‘just woke up’ before your feet even hit the floor.
* Alternate periods of work and rest. The book makes a great distinction between creating and consuming. Because constantly switching between the two robs us of our attention and time, it badly affects how truly productive we are. That’s why I really like the idea of working for 50 minutes and then taking a break for 10. It’s also why I close all distracting applications and popup alerts (sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and restart Windows since telling it ‘Later’ won’t make it stop asking). Creating time is creating time. Rest time is rest time. And never the twain shall meet.

The rules put forth in the sport of life are designed to protect us, not rob us of the joy of living. Is living free of pain and degenerative disease worth the cost of dietary sobriety?

Dieticians are stuck on calorie counting. They say that we can eat anything, that nothing is forbidden, that’s it’s all just a matter of calories in and calories out. Poppycock! Should you go straight during the week and cheat on the weekends? Should you cheat every day? Not at all? What does cheating accomplish?

Cheating on your diet puts you at risk for infection, organ damage, heavy metal poisoning and physical degeneration. Many of us use food to pacify emotions including boredom, depression or loneliness. Others simply give into temptation or think of food as nothing more than a reliable source of pleasure. Does cheating lead you astray or protect you from doing something worse? Does cheating make you stronger or weaker?

So what can you do?
Focus on what you want. Think of how you would like things to turn out and fill your mind with thoughts of success. If you stray, if your mind comes back and give you negative junk that leads to fear and anxiety change those thoughts.
Your subconscious mind will then pick up on these new thoughts and allow you to overcome the fear… eliminate the anxiety and get rid of the panic attacks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
You need to eliminate and change any negative beliefs about money even if times are tough or if there’s a recession.
The truth is that in a recession people still make money.

Forget the title.
When you are an inspirational speaker, and I am telling this now to myself too, you do not have to bother yourself with titles. The title the “best inspirational speaker in the Philippines” will not make you most inspiring. Brag that you are the “youngest inspirational speaker” and people will simply see you as immature. Being the youngest is not a qualification, not even a distinction. Inspirational speaking is not a contest of inventing titles. Focus on your stories. Enrich your world. You are the message and people are more interested with the message.
Forget the title.
That particular title, the youngest motivational speaker, really sounds immature to me. What is the use of using that title? Do you want to show off? Do you want people to be impressed that you are a young genius because you are able to motivate people at a young age. Forget about it. There is no entry age for motivational speakers. Or even for inspirational speakers. You get old every year and someone can easily dethrone you. I saw one 25 year old guy who made that claim. He does not know that there is that girl Fatima Soriano who has been inspiring people with her songs and her speeches in churches and on radio. And I will not wonder if there is someone who is younger than her, someone who did not bother to advertise herself, but do motivate and inspire people everyday. I have heard before that Bo Sanchez started his preaching at a very young age. But he was wise enough not to make such “youngest” title.
Forget the title.
Inspirational speakers wear many hats. Some of them are called priest,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], teachers, managers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], businesspersons, chief executive officers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], students,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], entertainers, salespersons,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], politicians, students, and many more. Whereas tension in the neck and shoulder regions is much more common in woman - probably about 95% - a tight jaw can be found equally among men and women.
You don't have to live with a tight jaw. Learn to relax it and you may discover the rest of your body relaxing in the process. Then discover your 'real' voice, the one you were meant to have - the one that is just waiting to come out!
